Valentine's Day

Our children were so excited to find Valentine's Day balloons in their rooms when they woke up. The simple joys of a balloon. It was a special day for Avery because it was the first time she gave the prayer in Sharing Time at church. She loves saying prayers. But it turned out to be a funny experience. Michael and I went into Sharing Time so we could hear her say her first prayer. We got there and Avery came up to us and told us that this is her class and we need to go to our class - Sunday School. She did not want us there. She got up to say her prayer and then she just looked at us. Eventually one of the Primary teachers stepped in and fed Avery some lines. Afterward I asked her why she didn't give the prayer by herself. And her response was I didn't want you there. Forget the parent support. An experience for the journal.

Logan striking his best dance pose - no he was just excited about the balloon.
Logan doing what he does best - taking off his shoes and socks.
Beautiful Avery.
She was so excited to go to church that day because it was Valentine's Day.
